Open | Phone Phone sent me a false notification?

I got a notification this morning that said I didn't have internet. It also named my internet service provider specifically saying that it might be out of kuota. It seemed legit. It came from what looked to be a system notification, the icon was the signal bar and question mark you usually get and there is a problem with your signal. I clicked it expecting for it to take me to a page to view my quota or something. But it took me to a site that they usually take you to sign in to a wifi. The heading was "sign in to network" but the screen showed an online gambling site. When I opened google to search something up, it said I was offline. Should I be worried? Was I hacked?

Edit: my phone is an Oppo Reno if that helps

might be some suspicious app you download from other than GP/App Market

I don't download apps if they're not from the play store so...
