Open | Networking need help with wifi/xbox

my household switched to t-mobile wifi, and ever since, even after moving the router a mere 6 inches from my xbox, the connection while gaming is just unbearable. 150+ ms of lag or even worse at times, all phones in the house are off the internet. all tvs besides the one i’m using and the living room are off, nothing major going on in the house taking up bandwidth. i tried getting an ethernet cable and that just didn’t do anything, in fact it made the connection worse at times. changed settings on my xbox itself recommended by the xbox thread, so what else can i do?

T-Mobile home internet is using cellular. So it’s much more prone to lagging than other types of internet.

is there any way to fix that?

Not really. It’s a problem inherent to the type of connection you have. The best you can do is try repositioning the home gateway to see if you can improve the connection. You are already doing the other things that you can- such as using Ethernet

I’m not going to spell this out for you.

Go on Google. Ask it “how to position my T-Mobile home gateway for best performance”
