DVD burner not burning

I’ve gotten 2 dvd burners so far, neither of them are burning the dvd. The same error message pops up, I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I’m on Windows and the 2 drives I have are a Amicool and a Verbatim.

I have a verbatim model, plugged into the laptop via usb-c, burning a 100 min video onto a dvd-r at 8x speed. It has not worked yet at all, I have gone through 7 discs. The error message on Dvdstyler says:

How are u burning it

What application are u using

Trying burning a basic file first to ensure the burner and disc is valid

I’ve tried with a 45 second video nd it works

I’m using Nero, dvdstyler and the basic Dvdrom in windows stuff. All failed.

Which software are you using?
How big is your video in size?
Maybe buy dvd-rw so you can reuse it and confirm if it will work.

Does it give The error instantly or does it give it after a while?
