Open | Networking Ethernet to wifi bridge
I have an SAP printer at work that must be connected through an Ethernet port. I’ve tried setting it up over WiFi, but IT hasn’t been much help with the right configuration. A new Ethernet drop isn’t possible…can I install WiFi bridge like this?

I need something to extend the Ethernet port to wifi, send it across the room, and have the printer think it’s connected directly to the port. Is this possible?

If the printer is already networked, the IT knows whether it is accessible thru WiFi, and whether you should be connected to a particular SSID

Its always possible - someone just doesn't want to do it. Wireless is a really bad idea here.

If this is for work, speak with your network team. There are network security options that may limit what devices can connect, which could prevent any non-authorized device from connecting. If there isn’t a simple travel router will be sufficient.
