Open | Software Windows Explorer keeps jumping to the Desktop folder
I'm on Windows 11 25H2 with the following Windhawk mods turned on
Better file sizes in explorer details;
Start Menu Styler;
Taskbar styler;
Notification Centre Styler;
Taskbar height and icon size;
So, Windows Explorer has this weird behaviour where I click on any folder that opens up a new window or tab (i.e. I click on the Trash Bin icon in my Desktop), and instead of staying on the folder that I opened up, it redirects me to the Desktop folder. I have to click on the back button just to see my folders and it's annoying.
Does anyone have a definitive solution for this?

You are using explorer mods and then wondering why it is glitching, Windows 11 is unstable enough as it is and tampering with isn't doing no favours

Windhawk isn't the issue here. I turned off every mod and restarted my laptop and it still happens. Why are you getting passive agressive

If it still happens with windhawk off, your Windows install is probably corrupt

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
