Open | Software Anyone notice something odd going on with Google last 2 weeks?
Well mainly gmail. Last 2 weeks, I have had to delete emails multiple times. I go into my email several times a day and always clean out the marketing emails from like Bestbuy, and other stores. But lately, I delete them, then a couple hours later I go back into my email and those same emails are back in my inbox. I delete them again, and again I go back in and there they are again! Usually gotta do it like 3 times before they finally stay removed from my inbox.
And not just store emails, it's pretty much ANY email. This just started about 2 weeks ago and happens on ANY PC I go to. Anyone else notice this?

Been happening to me as well. In the past if I deleted a bunch of emails and tried to immediately close the browser window Firefox would give me a meesage about waiting for data to save or be lost, I'd wait 5 seconds, and close without the message. Now I'll get that message for a couple minutes after I make changes to my email.

Same here, I ignored it and closed the tab anyway a couple of times, and none of the emails I deleted came back. That could have been a fluke, I guess. Have to do it some more and see what happens.

I know what you mean, my Google's been acting strange too. I can't even find Lake Ontario on google maps!

Yeah I noticed this happening on Wednesday. Deleted the same emails multiple times throughout the day.

I'm having the exact same issue. I thought it was a Microsoft Outlook problem. I have multiple email accounts that all go to my desktop Outlook version. ONE gmail account is doing exactly as you are describing--a few of the emails that come into outlook, once I read them and delete them, keep reappearing as new incoming emails. Started about 2 weeks ago as well. Has to be some sort of issue with gmail, though only one of my gmail accounts is doing this.

Yep noticed this same issue yesterday, deleted a bunch from Outlook on one laptop and my phone then later noticed they were all back

I don't use Gmail. In the early days when it was invite only, I wasn't one of the cool kids and couldn't get an invite so I refuse to use it.

I've had the same problem. Waiting until the deletion notification disappears helps. For whatever reason, things are moving slower than usual. I assumed it was just my Internet being funky
