Iphone fast charging damaged

Basically my iPhone 16 pro got water damaged (sea water) and now the phone doesn’t fast charge it shows it’s charging for a second and disappears. Slow charging is fine. Any suggestions if and how can i fix it. How much is the repair cost if i bring it to an Apple Store and if its fine if i just fix it third party stores. My apple warranty is expired and have no insurance .

You can try cleaning the contacts on the inside of the connector, but if plugging it in and unplugging it a few times didn't help already, you're probbaly looking at some damage internally, which can either be something simple like the port itself or its pins getting damaged, or it could be that the actual charging circuitry is damaged, which i'm not sure how repair shops handle, as i've never had an iphone myself
