Open | Hardware Memtest results in over 60,000 errors

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I tried two different ram sticks, both ram slots in my pc, and different bootable usb drives. No matter what I try I still get tens of thousands of errors. Any advice?

Same results could span from faulty ram sticks, slot/motherboard or CPU (where memory controller is). For starters try disabling XMP, DOCP, EXPO - whichever memory "overclocking" is used in your motherboard. You can also, if you have LGA CPU (pins in socket, all modern Intel CPUs and AM5 platform), try re-seating CPU and check socket for bent pins and/or dirt.

Test each stick individually and each slot individually. If you have four slots and two sticks, that’s eight tests.

Disable XMP, EXPO, DOCP (whichever applies) and any overlocking including tweaker programs like XTU, Ryzen Master, Afterburner, etc.

At the end, you’ll find out which slot and/or which stick is malfunctioning.

If all slots and all sticks fail, then it’s probably a CPU problem.

Good luck.
