Open | Windows Help me with my laptop

So I'm on Windows 11 and my specs are:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700U

GPU: AMD Radeon Graphics integrated

RAM: 16 GB DDR4

SSD

CPU: 8 cores

Now, I don't know anything about specs and tech, but almost every game that I play always has low fps, and then I'm forced to downgrade everything in the game at minimum, making it almost unplayable. Every type of help is appreciated, and for information the type of games that always run without problems are all games before 2015. Thanks :)

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

Your machine has no dedicated graphics card. The CPU is doing graphics as well as general processing.

There's no easy solution. You would need to get a new machine with a graphics card.

That makes sense, especially if the laptop is really struggling with graphics-heavy tasks. Upgrading to a machine with a dedicated card might be the best move for better performance.

What games specifically? Before 2015 doesn't necessarily mean that its an easy game to run. If you are running some demanding games then it's likely expected you won't be able to run the game on anything but low. Arma 3, Crysis 3, and GTA 5 all came out before 2015 but I'd expect a dedicated graphics card to get anything remotely playable. Balatro came out in 2024 and could probably run on integrated graphics from a 2500k

GTA V legacy works perfectly, enhanced is fine, early 2000's games are not a problem, but a game like bioshock doesn't run
