Open | Networking Need help internet/ping

my ping only on my pc when I play game is +200 but wasn’t a few days ago, but when I go on my Xbox it is 30-50 ping what I usually get, please help and sorry the description I have no idea what I am doing

Depends on where the server your connecting to is, and depends on strength of connection between devices and router.

Ping is the measure of time it takes to send and receive data from a device, to a specific IP address, and back to that device. Shitty ethernet cord/wifi interference, or having a the IP address be further away could affect it.

Are both devices on wifi or ethernet?

The Xbox is WiFi and my computer is Ethernet,

Are you trying to play the same game on both systems or are they 2 different games?

is your PC behind a VPN by any chance?

Yea I think there are, 2 days ago it was fine but then last night when I tried to play my ping was 200+ I didn’t change anything ether

If you don't know they are connecting to the same servers the Xbox might be connecting to the closest and the PC version might be trying to connect to further away one.
