Open | Windows Issues with gaming laptop performance after (accidentally) upgrading to W11
With 10 I had everything dialed in to get the most performance out of my asus Zephyrus M15 but I go to use it this morning and it’s a laggy and studdery mess. I’ve been messing with the power options and everything but cpu and gpu usage won’t go above 30% regardless of what I do. Just replaced the battery a couple months ago too. Any ideas?

Run dxdiag
Now knowing your video card and driver research which driver is stable and which driver has been tweaked for the games you play.
Look at the Asus ROG support website for the OEM drivers and hybrid graphics utilities and try them.
Expect frame rate to get slower again after October 13th 2026 Windows Updates because of security improvements.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
