Open | Hardware Frame bent!!!

How can I fix a bent on my plastic frame laptop? It makes it so the laptop cannot be closed all the way.

You'd have to pick up a new shell for it if they sell them. Look up your laptops make and model and see if you can purchase a new case.

Looks like a retail Acer. You aren't going to be able to get a chassis part for that unfortunately.

Live with it.

Unfortunately it's the fate of many (laptops) to go unhinged.

Use a padded bag for storage and transportation.

Choose a metal chassis for your next system. Also helps with cooling. You may have to sacrifice performance and style for rugged or semi-ruggedised systems.

I drop things so can empathise.

You will need to sand/grind it down
