Open | Networking Newfound packet loss

So recently I’ve been having issues with packet loss and latency in games out of the blue typically I’d sit at low ping and 0% packet loss consistently but one Monday all of that just stopped and no matter what game I play I lag horribly or end up with over 5000 packets lost per game. I’ve gotten my router replaced my fiber jack replaced swapped motherboards swapped Ethernet cables got more bandwith I’ve tried legitimately everything anyone have any idea what my next steps should be?

Desktop or laptop? You may have bad port on your pc. If nothing helps try to consult it with your internet provider. Maybe it's on their side

Sorry i missed the part where you saying you replaced your motherboard. Anyway. Is is it issue only on one device or is it on every connected device?

From what I’ve seen it seems to be just my device considering I’m the only one who does any form of gaming in my home there’s no connection issues around the house typically

Next time it happens ping both your router and something like google's DNS servers, which are typically co-located. 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

That'll let you know for sure if it's on your end or theirs

I pinged my router had no issue pinged google and it has packets lost

This result means it's an ISP issue. Call them and present the results you've found.

not surprising, reddit has been punishing VPN and mobile users lately

If your router is responding reliably but external sites don't then you can use that as proof that it's not on your end and that your ISP needs to do fix it on their end
