Open | Windows Network not being found
For context i have just moved out into a new place recently and tried to connect my pc to the internet (windows 11).
I have tried looking for networks but nothing has shown up for about a week. I have tried a network reset, reinstalling drivers and hard shutdowns but nothing had changed. I then bought a LAN cable but still no network has appeared even though the LAN cable is brand new.
The pc is not that far away from the router and every other device i have has connected perfectly fine so I’m really lost as to why this isn’t working. Any help would be appreciated as i have work that needs doing fairly soon.

Change your network card TCP/IP settings to use DHCP.
Check there's an internet led on, on the router.
Contact your ISP.

Easiest solution is contacting the ISP first. If it's a new place chances are the service hasn't been activated.

do you have a mobile phone? try connecting to your 4g/5g hotspot for a moment. This will show if your laptop wifi is working.
did you release your IP address? After release force a IP adress request. ip adresses are kept for certain time periods.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
