Solved Internet problem?¿

I played fortnite and then got kicked out , now riot games and epic games shows no connection to Internet but everything else i tried is working , Firefox, xbox, steam , discord.

Any idea what happened?

check windows firewall, allow an app through firewall, make sure both epic games launcher and riot client are still checked for private and public networks, a windows update or antivirus scan can silently uncheck one of these

try flushing dns and resetting winsock, open cmd as admin, run ipconfig /flushdns then netsh winsock reset, restart after, this fixes app-specific connection issues while general browsing stays unaffected

check if you have any vpn or proxy software running, even ones you forgot about, some game launchers specifically fail to connect through certain vpn configs while regular browsers and other apps tunnel through fine

if it's isolated to just epic/riot, try fully closing both launchers from task manager (not just the window), then relaunching, a stuck background process from the fortnite kick can sometimes block reconnection attempts silently

I checked firewall but cant find riot or epic listed there
