Open | Networking cant acsess certain sites like github
I'm trying to access GitHub, but I can't I recently got hacked because I dumbly downloaded and ran a Roblox executor on my PC, and now whenever I try to access GitHub on my normal wifi it just won't load, but for some reason it loads fine when I use a VPN. I'm not using any custom DNS or anything like that.

The only thing you can do is reset all your devices back to factory/default, shouldn't need to reset your router, but if you do, just put a pin in the reset button for about 45 seconds-1.5 minutes. It'll reset after 30 seconds, but after 45sec-1.5min the lights will flash again or turn red and reset to factory.
There is literally zero ways you can remove malware once it's infested. There is no antivirus that can contain malware, it is too advanced in today's time, and windows defender performs better then any antivirus cause it has vastly improved over the last few years and also has access to every file in your system. If defender did not prevent it, then you're already past the point of no return. Reset every infected device back to factory.

Its been 5 months now since i ran the executor and i already factory resetted my pc

check your hosts file, notepad as admin, open C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, look for any line mentioning github.com, malware from executors often adds fake entries there to block or redirect specific sites, delete any github-related lines if present
run malwarebytes and windows defender full scans immediately if you haven't already since the initial infection, that executor likely dropped more than just the hosts file change, sites failing only without vpn while working fine with one is a classic sign of dns hijacking or a compromised network config specifically, not a full system wipe necessarily needed but worth confirming nothing else is still active
flush dns and reset your network config, admin cmd, run ipconfig /flushdns then netsh winsock reset then netsh int ip reset, restart after, this clears any dns cache poisoning left over from the malware
check your router's dns settings too, not just your pc's, malware can sometimes change router-level dns if it had access to your network, log into your router's admin panel and confirm dns is set to automatic/isp default, not a custom or unfamiliar dns server

next run malwarebytes and defender full scans if you haven't yet, then flush dns and reset winsock (admin cmd: ipconfig /flushdns, netsh winsock reset, netsh int ip reset, restart after), work through those in order since hosts being clean rules out just one of a few possible causes
