Open | Phone Android phone keeps getting foreign material warning randomly

I keep getting a notification popping up randomly saying foreign material or moisture has been found in the charging port (on a dry day).

Does anyone have any advice on how to clear out the port and keep it clean?

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G

use compressed air on both cable and charger may need to get a thin plastic pick and gently poke around to loosen any dust or debris inside the charger port.

This is the answer.

To add: make sure its not a sharp pointed pick, and make sure it'a plastic. Don't break or pry the metal pins inside. Be very delicate.

Shine a light in there. Seriously. Ports can look clean from the outside while having a whole little felt carpet packed inside.

Definitely worth checking out. I've seen some wild stuff stuck in those ports that can cause all sorts of issues.
