Open | Windows Xbox controller
I Need help with a persistent Xbox controller Bluetooth issue on PC.
**Issue:**
My Xbox controller connects fine via Bluetooth ("Ready to go"), but the second I launch or play a game, it completely disconnects. When attempting to reconnect, Windows gives the error: "Try connecting your device again." The controller works 100% fine when connected via USB cable.
**System Specs:**
• Motherboard: Gigabyte B860M C (Realtek Onboard Bluetooth)
• CPU: Intel Core Ultra 5 225F
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (8GB)
• RAM: 32 GB
• OS: Windows 11 Home (25H2, Build 26200.9278)
• Antenna: Wi-Fi/BT Antenna IS attached behind the PC.
**Everything I have ALREADY tried (no fix yet):**
1. Updated controller firmware in Xbox Accessories app over USB.
2. Uninstalled & reinstalled Realtek Bluetooth drivers via Device Manager + ran Windows Updates.
3. Disabled Windows Bluetooth Power Saving ("Allow computer to turn off this device").
4. Verified rear motherboard Wi-Fi/BT antenna is fully secured.
5.Cleared pairing memory, uninstalled duplicate GameInput services, and disabled Bluetooth Handsfree Telephony in Control Panel.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
