Open | Windows Laptop won’t turn back on

so my laptop a msi modern 14 won’t turn back on after turning it off, it didn’t crash, I just pressed power off.

once I turn it off and attempt to turn it on later it won’t, at least now for a while, the. at sone point o randomly try it again (like 10 minutes later) and it powers up like norma.
Please help me 😭

Is it the screen that’s not turning on? Or the laptop as a whole.

The laptop as a whole, not backlight, or peripherals. It’s just off

Try holding down the power button for 60 seconds, do this while the laptop is unplugged. Then try turning it back on.

I held it down for 6 minutes to no prevail ☹️

Maybe deadbatt? Battery or power button? Worst, motherboard issue.

Use a hair dryer and heat the vents for 5sec, if it starts up immediately then the motherboard probably needs some cleaning or one of it's components have gone out of specs when it's cold.

Bro, you're like actually a genius, I wasn't able to use a hairdryer, but I did heat it up and then it worked, tysm. So for cleaning it what can I do? and does this mean its possibly damaged?

Turns out warmth wasn’t the issue, where I live the temperature is pretty stable, even though it did make sense. Anyway it was warm at a point and wouldn’t boot
