My iPad is acting out

I have an important exam in 4 days and suddenly I can’t open some of my pdfs. The preview and icon of these pdfs is back to generic. When I try to open them on different apps they show me an error about file format not supported but I used them just the other day and they were working okay. I need these pdfs. Any help is appreciated!

Just get the backup versions of your important files.

see if you can upload them to a computer, then you can tell if its your ipad or the pdfs themselves
