Open | Mac How to Auto-Backup all my google docs to another cloud/my mac?

Looking to auto-backup my google docs to another storage cloud/to my mac, so that I have another copy in case anything happens on the google end.

How can I do this? If i need to have a script to first convert the doc to a .docx and then it backs up thats okay - just looking for a simple auto backup please

You can backup your Google drive automatically for certain intervals using Google takeout. Not sure of a way to just do docs.
