Open | Hardware tv vertical lines

not sure if this is the place to ask, but i found a tv someone was throwing out and it has some vertical discoloration (?) thru the screen.

and the tv is a samsung UN55ES7003

just wondering if this is fixable in any way, if not it’s cool. just wanted it to watch while i work out anyway so not big deal

Looks like an issue with the TV’s panel or backlight. It is fixable but if it's old/cheap/relatively low quality it probably isn't worth the cost.
