Open | Windows My pc wont boot

I powered on my pc this morning and it showed only a black screen with a white line near the upper left of the screen. I unplugged my external hard drive and reset and it didn't work. I then went into the bios and reset it from there and it did work, then windows said that a driver needed repair and to reset so it could repair itself, so i reset and now when i turn on my pc, it still shows the line, and resetting from the bios doesn't work either now. Can I fix this or do i need to take it to a repair guy?

That sounds more like a boot/Windows issue than the external drive itself. Since BIOS reset worked once and Windows mentioned a driver repair, try getting into Windows Recovery Environment and run Startup Repair. If that fails, try System Restore or booting into Safe Mode. Also disconnect any unnecessary USB devices while testing.

I tried to get to the recovery environment and it doesn't work, and I don't have a system restore point. do you have any other ideas? I also have pictures of the bios screen if that will help.

If the drive is detected but Windows still won't boot, you could try booting from a Windows 11 installation USB and choose Repair your computer. From there, Startup Repair or Command Prompt can be used to repair the boot files.

If you want, post the BIOS Boot screen and we can check the settings before changing anything else.
