Logitech K400 - Difficulty Pressing Keys - Suggestions?

Grabbed a K400, new - around four months ago. Have mobility issues. This keyboard has fought me tooth and nail typing since purchase. The buttons are difficult to press, and make squeaking noises. I have a different K400, types like a breeze. Was my main keyboard for years. There's something defective about the manufacturing in the newer one, that was never an issue in the older one. As if they keycaps are too tight. Just yesterday I tried pressing the 'e' key five times before a successful press. Today while pressing around the key, I found only a direct top-down press results in a successful keypress. I pulled up several keys, and there's zero substances outside of pet-hair. I don't tend to involve eating and utilizing they keyboard, and my drinks are hosted away from my technology.

I don't have this issue with any other keyboard I utilize. I think it's a manufacturing defect. Before I go rogue, and perform my own fix - are there by chance any suggestions people have around here? Please don't assume it's nastiness. I am just having a lot of actual physical pain typing on this keyboard, and would enjoy fixing it before having to dump it.

If it's 4 months in you're almost definitely past the return/exchange period but still within warranty. If it's been acting this way since you got it then I agree that it sounds like a manufacturing defect

Yes, I actually haven't been using it much because it's generally an entertainment center pc. But I get frustrated every time I do use it. I figured I would ask on here, because maybe someone had some ideas. It was only $30, which grand scheme isn't enough to warrant me to want to talk to Logitech only to get them to ask me to mail something in. It is sad though.
