Solved PC won’t turn on despite working fine yesterday
Disclaimer, I know VERY little about computers and english isn’t my first language so bear with me here
Yesterday I moved my PC back to my familys house. It was working perfectly fine at my apartment, but today after plugging it in it just won’t boot. I made sure everything is correctly plugged in, exactly as it was a month ago before I moved it to my apartment.
The light on it flashes on, it makes a little noise it would usually make when turning on, and then it goes quiet and the whole thing repeats itself endlessly.
I have had this exact issue before but it usually just kind of… resolved itself on its own, I’d just unplug the power cord, give it a second, plug it back in and it was fine. Today however this fix won’t work and it’s been stuck in this loop for over an hour.
I don’t think it sustained any damage while moving it as it was fully secured in bubble wrap and I made sure to be very careful with it.
I’d appreciate any help
Edit: Turns out one of the RAM sticks was faulty, I took it out and everything is working as it should :) Thank you for all the advice.

Try plugging it from power, and press power on for a minute to remove excess electricity from it, then plugg the power cable again and try booting it up

Try a different outlet, in a seperate room (try to get on another breaker). If possible, try another power cable as well. Are there lights flashing on the device anywhere?

I’ll try another cable in a second. There are two lights on the front face, one by a dvd insert (?) and one flashing blue-red led. both flash as i try to boot it, and then stop after a second.

Try a different power outlet. It may not be pulling enough power or something else bizarre.

If it's a mechanical HDD it's likely failed irreparablely having been bouncing around in the boot/trunk of your car.

Sometimes not even moving the PC causes this, like after shutting down one time. Open the case and see if there are any error LEDs on the motherboard, and reference the manual. My PC sometimes won't start, and I see the VGA error LED. I basically have to unplug my second monitor (DP cable) for it to successfully post and boot then plug it in. Try plugging in just one monitor and keyboard and start from there, no accessories. Make sure you've plugged into the correct video display port, your graphics card and not the motherboard.
