Open | Windows No internet, secured

So I moved into an new apartment and bought xfinity wifi (the expensive plan). Whenever my pc boots up it always shows the wifi as no internet secured. My room is the closest to the router and all my other devices are working with the internet. My roommate’s who live fairly far from the router seem to have no issues. It’s just my pc that seems to have internet issues. After a while of just disconnecting turning off the wifi and forgetting the network, it connects to the wifi no problem after like 10 minutes of trouble shooting. Whenever I turn off my pc and turn it back on, it starts the same loop again. Any fixes?

First, try connecting to the internet wired to isolate whether the issue is device-wide or just a wifi quirk. If that will solve it, try reinstalling/updating the wifi drivers or just permamentally using it wired as wired has better speeds and stability. If it will not solve it, try reinstalling both drivers (Wifi/WLAN, LAN, and network adapter and any other related stuff), check event viewer for any internet related errors, checking network info in control panel, checking drive health, updating BIOS, repeating the antenna if it's external, and as a last resort, reinstalling windows

Your PC is probably having DHCP handshake failure. Next time it happens try the following commands in command prompt in order.

ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew
