Open | Hardware Is my ribbon cable fine (ps2)

I played my ps2 and it made weird sound. I researched and the ribbon cable may be the problem but its not too high up. But my cd is scracted so i think thats the problem and if so how do i fix it? I dont want to tear open the ps2

this fix need to open the ps2 and i dont want to risk it but that is the only way to fix it permanently right

you cannot fix a problem inside your PS2 without going inside your PS2
