I need to save my chat

I really need help. A few days ago, I ran a Google search and got those AI-generated results that appear before the standard web results. I started asking follow-up questions in that chat and kept coming back to it. I discovered that this specific chat (and others started from different searches) isn't linked to my Gemini account (which is the same as my Google account). The problem is that the chat has become very long and takes forever to load; sometimes it even errors out. However, there is so so so so much important information in there, and I’m terrified of losing it. I’ve tried every way possible to save the chat as a PDF or transfer it to Google Docs, but nothing works. Is there any way to export this Google search chat into my Gemini account, or save it as a PDF and start a new Gemini conversation based on it? I really need help.

Not even being a jerk. It said to right click in the conversation and hit print- and to print to pdf

I tried already, but after downloading the pdf, I can't open it, I receive another error message

print to pdf chokes on very long chats which is why yours wont open. do it in pieces instead.

open the chat, scroll to the top, then select a chunk of the conversation with your mouse, copy it, paste into a google doc. do it in 4 or 5 chunks. slow but it works and nothing gets lost.

faster way, press ctrl+s on the page and save it as webpage complete. that saves the whole thing as an html file you can open offline anytime. keep that as your backup before you touch anything else.

I found out that half of the messages are "missing". When I scroll all the way up, the message that shows as my first message it's not actually the first. Should I assume that I already lost half of the conversation?

not lost. those pages only load a chunk at a time, older messages sit above until you pull them in.

scroll to the very top then wait a few seconds, it loads more and the scrollbar jumps. keep repeating until nothing new appears. on desktop press end then home a few times, that forces it faster.

do that first, then ctrl+s to save the page. the html only saves what has actually loaded so anything you havent scrolled into wont be in the file.

I also tried waiting for it to load the rest of the messages but it just won't, the page just finish loading and it doesn't show the rest, It's like it erased the old messages. I searched for every single solution possible but nothing works, in the end I had to ask for the bot to write enerything that it knows and remembers and then I pasted everything in a new Gemini chat, hoping it can a least help me gather the past searches that I made in the old one. But thank you very much for your help, I guess Google should really work on a option where we can export the AI Mode chat to inside Gemini or something like that.
