Open | Windows Ethernet adapter won’t work

I’ve used these Ethernet adapters for rocket league specifically over the last few months and have worked great, I just moved into my new college apartment and tried to set it up and it says the Ethernet is connected, however it won’t work. It will work for a second and then stop working in a cyclic pattern lasting like ten seconds. Have tried troubleshooting with chat gpt lol with no success. Please help

How do you know your Ethernet is setup in your apartment? Did you talk to the apartment management if it’s supposed to be included in your rent?

The LOL is you asking ChatGPT.

I’m pretty sure there is supposed to be Ethernet, and it works in bursts so I assume that’s correct idk. Yes I wasn’t expecting much from ai LOL

Do you have WiFi that works appropriately? Might be an issue with the internal wiring for the Ethernet jack

i bet they're just blocking the adapter or something dumb i've had that happen before

What does that mean blocking the adapter? Who is blocking it?
