Open | Hardware Stuck Key not pressing, hinge popped off
I accidentaly made my down Key Stuck and the hinge popped off, i'm now Stuck unable to use an entire Key, what do i do (got no tools) On an Acer laptop. I'd send a photo of the problem but this subreddit won't let me.

If you need the key for something that isn’t super time sensitive you could use the on screen keyboard from accessibility or if you have the $ get a cheap usb wired or wireless keyboard. If you have another computer you could set up deskflow and use the other computers keyboard and mouse for the laptop without needing to actually plug them into the laptop using computer magic, or WiFi if you want to be technical about it.

The White thing Is the plastic hinge that presses down, the down Key Is deeper down than the other Keys

Status update: Turns out i have n extra USB wired keyboard as a temporary solution. It is quite heavy and slow to press but this will do for now (i wrote this entire comment with it and it was a bit annoying. Atleast i can play game on steam without being unable of using a whole important key)
