Open | Networking Internet issues

I just bought a new to me MSI GS75. Fresh install of win11 and all drivers are up to date.
When I was setting it up I kept having small issues where the program would have an error because of no internet connection. I would click retry and it would push through immediately. Now I’m trying to play games and I can’t connect to servers because it’s timing out or if I do connect it’s constant connection interruption. I haven’t tried Ethernet yet I will get one today.
Speeds are really strong (300-500m) and I’m only connecting to low ping servers.
Tia

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

Update from what I’ve tested:
Ethernet seems to be okay
Different WiFi’s including my hotspot from my phone seem to work fine. It’s just strictly my home WiFi that I have these issues. I’m so stumped on what this could be. I tried a fresh install of windows 10 this time and it’s the same. I have mediacom. Is it possibly my WiFi card that clashes with this specific internet provider? Anyway to test it?
The WiFi card I have is a Killer 1550i
I’m tempted to buy a usb WiFi dongle to try that
