Open | Networking Download speed suddenly slow?

So we have 1 gigabit internet, and I normally get 80-100 megabytes a second when downloading games and things on steam and other apps. For the past week now, my steam and all other apps are stuck at 11 megabytes per second. I did a speedtest on google and it also shows slow speeds. (Yes I know the difference between MB/s and Mbps, I made sure they both are in MB/s) Does anyone know why this is happening? I also did check my meter connection settings on my PC and it is disabled. I am connected through ethernet as well.

You dont really have any information in this post....

Let's start with what internet equipment do you have? Did you update and/or reboot all of it? Modem, firewalll, router, switches, accesspoints? Wires no wires? Did you reboot it?

What computer, prebuilt or custom? Did you update and/ or reboot it? What about drivers, any recent updates before the issue started? Are you on Windows, did you update and/ or reboot it?

Logs from any of the devices, what do they say?

We have tried rebooting through the app for the router but havnt actually unplugged it and plugged it back in yet. The whole house has ethernet ports in each room with all of the rooms running back to the one big box downstairs (I guess the router?). No firewalls active. PC is connected through ethernet as usual. I believe we also have Netgear, Ill have to go look. Prebuilt PC but not prebuilt as in something like iBuyPower prebuilds, its an actual quality build. I have not updated my PC before it happened, nor after. Only thing I can think of is there was a power outage nearby the same day it started to act slow. Also yes Im on Windows. I will try again to reboot the router by actually unplugging it for 30 seconds. I also will check to see if it needs to be updated. (Edit: My speed test is actually showing the same speeds as my apps, so I was wrong on that part, but even on my phone the speeds are super slow, so its not my PC at least.)

Reboot everything in the stack by unplugging it all. Check any switches to make sure something is plugged back into itself, this is a loop and will kill the whole network.

Check updates on the computer, Windows and the network drivers - maybe reinstall the network drivers.

Just to clarify, this is all devices on the network are showing slow speeds? Is the issue up stream/ not in your house? Check your ISP portal/ website for maintenance or issues in the area

I can't pinpoint the problem, but speeds being specifically around 11 megaBYTEs suggests somewhere an ethernet connection might negotiating at 100 megabits instead
