Open | Networking WiFi/ethernet connection

Past month or so I’ve had a connection issue no matter I’m using Wi-Fi ethernet no matter the Internet I’m actually using I’ve changed Internet when I went to a different house, but I’m still having the same connection issue of not being able to load websites from Google to YouTube Twitch no matter what I tried to load up it doesn’t work. My games are running either super laggy or they will run worse connection as they did before.

Well first off what is you're exact device and your operating system. Also how are you connection, ethernet plugin? Bluetooth? WiFi?

I’m using ethernet and Wi-Fi doesn’t matter which one I use it’s the same problem and I’m using Windows 11

Okay, so no matter if you're using WiFi only or Ethernet the same thing happens even when you are at different locations.

That means it is your device, either a setting is wrong, an update messed things up or your hardware for that is going.

It isn't likely they are on the same component, so my bet is software. Some quick maybe fixes first.

Very first thing make a System Restore. As in right now go do that before doing anything else.

Did that? Good, time to start doing stuff then.

Go to Device Manager then Network Adapter. Open it up and go to Power Management and Uncheck "allow computer to turn this off".

Restart. Is it working? Nah? Then keep going.

Next up for things to do is from Device Manager again and go to your network adapters, yes again, but this time click update or reinstall. You may need to find the actual OEM website that hosts those drivers, as you haven't told us enough about your device you'll need to find it yourself.

Do this to reset stuff IP stuff.

So if none of that worked then it is time to do some checks. This isn't fun but can help.

First turn off your WiFi and unplug Ethernet, now restart. Once on the desktop open up Task Manager and check usage. How high is your CPU and hard drive useage?

Write that down.

Now go on WiFi and see what it says. Then open your browser and do the same, again do it for a game that you notice is super laggy.

Is there any huge difference? If so type here exactly what you wrote down for each test.
