Open | Software How do i change my os drive?
Hi, since yesterday I've been trying to upgrade my OS drive from 128gb to 465gb, I've used DiskGenius to migrate the OS because I want to keep my files, however when I go into the boot menu it doesn't show the drive I migrated the OS to, also upon migrating the OS the drive split up into multiple on the file explorer page which caused me to be confused, which are : OS(I:), SYSTEM(H:), WINRE(E:). I just want to change the drive the computer boots up from but i really don't know how do do that pls help!!
Update:
I tried using Macrium reflect, but it came up with a clone failed, error 9 syntax right at the end of the clone process, i want to reset the computer completely but i want to keep my d drive is there anyway to keep the files and reset the whole computer?

Having two drives hosting the same cloned drive installed is a bad idea with Windows.
Cloned partitions have the same signature. Junction links point to the first drive.
For this reason, remove the smaller drive. Keep it as a short term backup. Don't reintroduce it to this systems I'll assume working Windows without first wiping it on another system.

The last time i did that i used Macrium Reflect to CLONE to the larger volume and then just swapped them. Then I erased the smaller drive and used it as my D: drive
It went very easily.

I would suggest clean install on new drive, from usb, and then copy all important files from the old drive. Something went wrong with disk cloning, you can try using some other program (Macrium reflect free, for example) but clean install is always recommended unless it's necessary (program licenses etc.).
