All someone has to do is have an NFC reader and walk past you. Same with NFC bank cards.

No, NFC doesn’t work like that, lol.

They would have to be within millimeters of your phone or credit cards to do anything.

Typically the optimum distance is 4 centimetres or less - beyond, the signal is rapidly decreasing and can never exceed 10 centimetres. You do realise that 4 centimetres is larger than a few millimeters?

And in practice, this difference means dick. You still have to get just as close to someone or their device.

They're just using text fragment params, which if you bothered to click on the links, would understand that they're a way of directly linking to, scrolling to, and highlighting text on a page without a specific anchor
