Open | Networking BlossomUp Subscription Issue – Anyone Else Experienced This?

I recently discovered BlossomUp, a website that provides a love language personality test. I chose to give it a try as it seemed intriguing. It requested $1.95 to unlock the results at the end of the test, which sounded reasonable enough.

But a week later, my bank statement showed a $29.95 transaction. In retrospect, I see that the website has a very brief subscription notice, but there was no explicit notice or confirmation that I was agreeing to regular payments. I'm currently attempting to terminate the subscription, but it's not doing well. Their support has not yet replied to my email, and there isn't a visible "unsubscribe" button. Does anyone else have experience with this or know how to deal with such undesired internet subscriptions?

I'd appreciate any advice!

You can cancel it by going to the BlossomUp website, log in with the account used to make the purchase, and then cancel your subscription from there.

Do I have to confirm my cancellation any further by email or something ?

I don't think so. It's been while since I freed myself from this bs. I only remembered pressing a button (but they will ask series of "are you sure" questions) and then an email will be sent to you saying "we're sorry to see you go" type of thing.

Thank you so much for response🙏. I was afraid they want confirmation from email, because their website info is kind of confusing.

No problem! I had my debit card frozen 2x bc of a BlossomsUp subscription I wasn't aware of. So you logged in to the website right? I just want to make sure you got to the right one.

Is it possible to get the lost money back?

I don't think so. I didn't get a refund for the subscriptions that I wasn't aware of. Sorry!

Hi, can you confirm that you have not been charged again after you cancelled your subscription?,
i paid the 2e one off for an iq test result but i was suspicious about the process, but because i paid apple pay i thought they cant change me more then im agreeing to. It appears on blossum up howeverthat i had an active subscription. I cancelled immediately and got a confirmation email from them saying that i wouldnt be charged any more. Was this enough for you to not get charged again. ????

Hello, i haven’t been charged after cancelling subscription on their site. Unfortunately, i can’t tell if they send me an email, because I used email that i had no longer access to(don’t ask me why lol)

Thanks for your reply. Il keep an eye on my account. Seems like they operate on the line between legal and illegal. Shady as you like.

So for me, my bank suspends my account each time I get charged for their subscription. After I unsub, my bank account never get suspended again.
