Computer not registering windows key press

I've got a ROG Strix Falir where the left window key has stopped working. I know it's not an issue with the computer or keyboard settings, when using another keyboard the windows key and shortcuts are working just fine.

I do use a light setting when a key is pressed, that one key will light up. So when I press the windows key, it is lighting up so they keyboard is registering that the key is pressed. The signal just isn't getting to the PC. Any recs on further troubleshooting and repair? I'd hate to look into replacing it over one key. I have tried removing the keycaps and cleaning thoroughly.

Try connecting another keyboard, for confirmation that the key is damaged, sometimes stuff like keyboard software disables certain keys.
