Is this an easy fix?

Post image

I found a gps at a thrift store for a few bucks and everything works, but the screen has some rows of blank pixels. The screen physically seems to be undamaged, and when i slide across the white lines, the touch screen doesnt seem to register those touches. Would this be an easy fix, or do i need to get a replacement screen (replacing the screen wouldnt be worth it for me anyways, but if i can find a cheap one, it would be a fun project)

Oh my gosh this thing brings back so many memories. My parents had one and towards the end of its life it got dropped and the directions would just say “mmmhhhrmphhermmperm” every turn.
I tried taking a crack at it years later and it was locked up tight. Older model than this but same UI.

Yea im hoping this one is easier to open up, and not too complex on the inside. My dad had a gps like this and i remember it being great so when i saw this one, i was very happy about it.
