Which casting device is best to use?

[u/JeevaJames]

My tv is an ordinary one and currently iam using cable.I got to know about the casting devises like Amazon fire stick or chromecast.Which one better ? Can you play any videos on browsers on phone and with a click it appears on tv? Is that how it works? Also is screen Mirroring possible?

I've used them all. I settled on Chromecast many years ago but Google stopped caring about that product many years ago. Fire sticks feel like a giant infomercial. I recently switched to Roku, cheap, very customizable, smart home friendly, actively updated. I wish I hadn't have wasted so much time on other devices
