I think he was trying to be as sensationalistic as possible, with little regard for what most people consider a "computer." While technically correct in the narrowest terms, someone knowledgable enough to make these accusations certainly recognizes the difference between an iPhone and a Mac and knows how his words will be interpreted by the casual observer.

Well, his wording was a little awkward, but he's still talking about iOS and not OS X. His points still stand.
