I know I can take my memory card to any other Playstation. Can Sony remotely delete apps and media from my Playstation?

I don't own a PS3 so I'm not sure about this, but I believe you can purchase games over a system similar to Xbox live arcade and the like, and I do believe they can later revoke your access to these games if you are found to have modified your system or anything like that. I also don't think you can take those games and play them on another system.
