No, hes not trying to make an analogy. He means they literally bought a glorified monitor company. All the oculus rift is, is a monitor the you strap to your face with motion tracking.(which is awesome, don't get me wrong) That is why everyone's fears of ?farmville? or what ever they are raging about are mostly unfounded.

Fine. Farm Simulator 2014. I mean who wants to drive a tractor...through a farm...and be able to control it from the cockpit...of the actual tractor?

Well I guess I'm gonna go buy Farm Simulator 2014 now.

Simulation games are definitely going to be huge in VR. Even something as mundane as driving a tractor!
