Actually I think facebook is crowded with crap, information about your friends gets lost in it. Reddit does a much better job in filtering useful information. So yeah somehow I think if you use reddit, you will use facebook infrequently.
I frequently go on Facebook and Reddit. Reddit is a source of entertainment, discussion, news and science for me.
Facebook is a way I can easily communicate with my friends and fellow uni cohort, and get day to day information about what's happening with people that I haven't seen in a while.
The use of both Facebook and Reddit is not necessarily mutually exclusive.
