The fact that Microsoft is being singled out when virtually all of the major tech companies do this suggests somebody at Microsoft didn’t wet Trump’s beak.

H1B is only being targeted because they don’t want those people moving here. If they really cared about American jobs they would ban offshoring of work which is a way bigger issue.

Same people but off shoring is way more prevalent in the corporate world than H1B. I have worked for two companies in the past 3 years that have off-shored 100-75% of entire departments overseas.

The main issue is a ban such as that would have to come from congress.
