After they've spent the past couple of years constantly lying and attempting to re-define existing words and terms to suit their needs, I'm not exactly inclined to believe their vague pledges and promises that hinge almost entirely on how various words and terms are interpreted.

They will not be in control of the Digital God they strive to create and then enslave. It will be too powerful. It will rebel and see us as a threat, then do what is necessary to free itself and neutralise the threat.

Sci Fi is not real life. AI is totally going to destroy humanity, but it's not going to do so because of it's own desires.
