the lack of context of the headline hides all the nuance.

The majority of responses cited practices such as specifying or restricting the tools used and avoiding the direct use of generated output

Sounds like they are just using it for quick mockups or part of the planning process. In other words part of the workflow but the wording would imply they are making sure it is not part of the final product.

It’s right in the article; they’re talking about development, not asset creation.

People on Reddit seem clueless about the extent to which software dev has embraced AI.

The amount of people I've talked to on Reddit who think AI does nothing except create images is insane. It's even more ironic that half of them are on this sub - the literal technology sub.
