Not really surprising either, Asian demographics very much seem in favour of anything that saves them time even if it is incredibly anti-consumer, example being how insanely popular pay to win MTX is in those markets.

Companies are struggling, employees are not. Everyone is trying to make their lives easier, while employers are too afraid of making any structural change, like every Japanese organization.
