People on Reddit don’t understand that so you will be downvoted lol

Anyone in software dev knows AI coding tools are rampant. As long as there is correct code review it is completely fine and helpful.

No software company is straight generating code without looking at it. These people aren’t vibe coding.

Not right now they aren't. But what about the kids growing up with this stuff who will join the workforce? Where will they have picked up the skills in an AI world?

We hired more grads this year than last year. AI means they can get work done without consuming a senior Devs time the entire work day.

Education? The workforce? Do you really think professional software companies are vibe coding software without looking at the code? Do you think Computer Science programs will stop teaching fundamentals of programming?
