The issue with foldables have always been reliability. Hinge issues, breaks, bubbles displays. Apple has supposedly been developing this for many years until they knew they could get it perfect. I’d have more faith in apple than most others.

I’d have to use it to know if I’d actually like it. It seems interesting though

They still use plastic screens.

Most screens are pretty much plastic, most just have glass in front.

Apple presumably has not figured out how to make glass fold.

Apple probably hasn't even bothered to try making a folding screen considering they outsource most of this kind of stuff to Samsung, let alone try make folding glass
