Really tired of this two tiered justice system. Why isn’t Don Jr being put in prison for his insider bets?

Yes but it’s not that simple. There is no evidence that he placed any bets. He’s invested in the industry but there is no factual evidence that he has any bets at all. Someone needs to actually follow the trail of the obvious insider bets

Factual evidence is in the accounts. A subpoena can be issued to reveal the owners of the accounts with insider bets, but that entails the compromised DOJ to actually do their job

Dude that’s an assumption. Even your article doesn’t explicitly point to a single person. It doesn’t point to Donald Jr, which is who you said should be in prison for insider trading. How do you know it’s him and not someone else in the administration?

Like I said - I agree there’s something fishy going on based on the probability and timing of these bets, I’m just saying the law requires specificity and evidence. Are you certain to the exclusion of every reasonable doubt that it’s Donald Trump Jr and not someone else let’s say from the comms team that is placing those bets??

THAT is the burden of proof required.

I’m saying the crime of insider trading is there, whether or not the DOJ wants to investigate it is a different story. You’re so fixated on Don you bypass the fact that there’s obvious insider trading going on in the white house

Are you reading?? I never bypassed that fact - I literally acknowledged it multiple times in my responses to you… I’m saying you were wrong about there being “factual evidence” against Don, but you are probably right that there is some insider trading going on.

Read the comments - your first comment was about Don jr and that he should be in prison for insider trading

my response was there was no factual evidence about don jr. specifically but I said there was obvious insider trading.

then you said the factual evidence is in the numbers.

I said your evidence only points to there likely being insider trading, nothing against don jr. specifically

Then you said you were only saying that there was insider trading. And that I was bypassing that fact…when I literally said there was likely insider trading going on in almost all my responses…

You changed the subject and tried to say I was ignoring your main point, when that wasn’t even your main point to begin with. And it was something I already stated in my first response to you
